How does Variety support kids?
Variety – the Children’s Charity supports kids and families who are facing illness, experiencing disadvantage, or living with disability and are at risk of falling through the gaps.
We believe all children deserve the same opportunities in life regardless of ability, location or background.
Our work allows kids to gain mobility, to get out and about in the community, to communicate, achieve independence and increase their self-esteem.
We make sure the kids who miss out, can always join in.
What type of images are suitable to use?
Avoid Any Adult Themes: Refrain from uploading photos containing any suggestive or provocative poses, attire, or gestures.
No Violent or Disturbing Imagery: Images depicting violence, weapons, or distressing scenes are unsuitable for this product.
Respect Privacy of All Individuals: Only submit photos of people who have consented to have their images used. Avoid uploading photos of strangers or those in public settings without permission.
No Alcohol, Drugs, or Related Imagery: Images including alcohol, drugs, smoking, or any related paraphernalia are inappropriate and will not be accepted.
Family-Friendly Humour Only: Any humour depicted in photos should be family-friendly, respectful, and suitable for all ages.
Avoid Images with Obvious Logos or Brands: Avoid using images that prominently display brand logos or advertisements, as these may conflict with the charity’s values.
No Offensive Language or Gestures: Please ensure images are free from any form of offensive language, symbols, or gestures.
High Resolution: Aim for photos that are at least 300 DPI or larger in file size (1 MB or more) to ensure a clear, sharp puzzle image.
Avoid Blurry Images: Blurry or low-quality photos may not print well. Use images that are sharp and in focus.
Good Lighting: Bright, well-lit photos work best. Avoid dark or shadowy images as they may appear unclear when printed.
Centred Subjects: For best results, centre the main subjects of your photo to avoid cropping out important details.
Respect Copyrights: Only upload photos you own or have permission to use, such as family photos, vacation shots, or pet pictures.
